Parmesan cheese scones


  • 2 cups flour
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1/3 cup oil or butter
  • 2/3 cup milk


  • 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • 2Mix the oil and milk
  • 3Mix the flour with the baking powder and the grated cheese.
  • 4Incorporate all and continue mixing.
  • 5Mix with your hands until you get a moist but firm dough, it doesn't have to be dry
  • 6We do not use kneading sticks, but we are stretching with the fingers the dough until it is about finger thick, and with a glass or mold, we cut circles.
  • 7We place in a previously oiled roasting pan with a little separation between each one.
  • 8Bake about 20 minutes
