  • 2 cups premix
  • 2 teaspoon baking powder suitable for coeliacs
  • 3 large garlic cloves
  • 1 tablespoon oregano
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 pinch of sugar
  • 1 egg
  • Water
  • pinch of salt (optional)


  • 1Crush the garlic and mix with the olive oil and oregano. Reserve.
  • 2Sift the premix, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
  • 3Add the butter and the olive oil mixture to the premix.
  • 4Knead until all the ingredients are integrated.
  • 5Then add the water and continue kneading for about 10 minutes until the dough does not stick to your hands and has elastic texture.
  • 6Form a ball with the dough and cover with a clean dry cloth.
  • 7Let stand for one hour.
  • 8Preheat the oven to 400 F for 10 minutes.
  • 9During this time, return to the dough and adding a little flour over it, stretch it again and knead it until it forms the bread you want to prepare.
  • 10Beat the egg and with a brush paint all the bread on top, this will give it a nice color.
  • 11Finally, make the mold and put the bread on the mold and bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
