Chocolate scones: look at this variant!

Chocolate scones.
The classic scones but with a variant to make them even richer. Ideal for snack.

Ingredients

  • 375g. Of flour
  • 70g of sugar
  • 1 tbsp of baking powder
  • 90g. butter
  • 1 egg
  • 180ml. milk
  • 1 tbsp vanilla essence
  • 200g. chocolate chunks

Directions

40 minutes
  • 1In a bowl place the sugar together with the cold butter cut into small cubes, the flour, the baking powder and form a sandblasting.
  • 2When ready add the egg, milk and vanilla to form a dough. Finally add the chocolate pieces.
  • 3Once it is well integrated, form a bun, place it on a previously buttered and floured roasting pan or plate, and flatten it until it is approximately 2cm high.
  • 4With the help of a knife, mark triangles and bake in a preheated oven at 200º for about 20 minutes.
  • 5When they are ready, remove them and finish cutting to form the triangles.
