Breads with wholemeal flour

Made in a muffin pan: breadffin!


  • 2 cups of flour for all purposes
  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar
  • 2 1/2 cups of water
  • 1 teaspoon of dry yeast.


40 minutes
  • 1In a small container place the yeast, a cup of flour, a cup of water.
  • 2Mix well and cover to leave rise for at least an hour
  • 3In another container mix the rest of the flours, salt, and sugar
  • 4Incorporate the yeast mixture, add water to make the dough
  • 5Let rise for at least another hour.
  • 6Divide the dough and place it in the muffin tin
  • 7Bake for 20 minutes at 180C / 350F
