Ingredients

  • 100 grams (3.5 Oz) of butter
  • 1 egg
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 tablespoons of milk
  • 1 egg yolk to paint
  • 1 cup grated cheese.

Directions

40 minutes
  • 1Beat the butter and egg until you get a creamy mixture
  • 2Add the yolks and beat
  • 3Sift flour, salt, and baking powder
  • 4Mix all the ingredients and add the milk little by little
  • 5Knead lightly and stretch to a thickness of 2 centimeters
  • 6Cut the scones with a glass or a pasta cutter
  • 7Arrange the scones on a buttered plate
  • 8Paint with the whipped yolk
  • 9Bake for 12 minutes
