Cornmeal bundt cake with dulce de leche sauce



  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup medium grind cornmeal
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup dulce de leche
  • 2 tbsp heavy cream


40 minutes
  • 1Preheat oven to 350F/180C.
  • 2Grease a bundt cake with butter and put it in the fridge for around 10 minutes.
  • 3In a bowl add all ingredients and mix well.
  • 4Pour batter in prepared bundt cake and bake for around 30-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the cake comes out clean.
  • 5Remove from oven and let cake cool completely before removing from pan.
  • 6In a glass bowl mix dulce de leche and heavy cream. Microwave mixture for 30 seconds. Stir and pour on top of cake.
