Chicken alfredo recipe



  • 7 to 9 oz fettuccine you can substitute for linguine or tagliatelle
  • 1 lb chicken breast cut into strips
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 cups heavy cream*
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese grated (plus more for serving)
  • salt and pepper to taste


40 minutes
  • 1Season chicken with salt and pepper and saute in butter.
  • 2Meanwhile in a separate pot, simmer garlic cloves in cream for 10 minutes.
  • 3Cook pasta according to package instructions.
  • 4Remove garlic cloves from cream and pour cream into pan with chicken. Add parmesan cheese.
  • 5When pasta is done, drain and toss with sauce.
  • 6Serve with more parmesan cheese and freshly ground pepper (optional).
